Bach, that for one. He wrote that he composed his music for God alone. When i try playing his music, I sort of feel he was making fun of us... Laughing at us, showing us what music was all about. And this piece exemplifies this principle. One of the staple pieces of music ever written for me.

One of the things I appreciate most about musicians in a classical school is the ability to maintain rhythm. Nothing hurts music more than loose rhythm and absence of clarity in sound and phrasing.

The prelude is the cornerstone of this piece and she does it masterfully. Every single note throughout the piece is measured and nuanced. Her ornaments are insane! The best rendition I've heard! Segovia & Co. don't come even close. Hope the lady stops mistreating her ears though, cause' those are of utmost importance for a musician.
